AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Utility Position in Martinsville, VA. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has experience operating a tow motor in a fast-paced yard environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.

Benefits of the Utility Person Position:

• Pay: $13.50/hr.

Responsibilities of the Utility POSITION:

• Operate a tow motor to safely move materials throughout the yard.
• Pull and stage customer and delivery orders accurately.
• Load company delivery trucks safely and securely.
• Assist customers by loading materials into their vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Utility POSITION:

• Previous tow motor/forklift experience required.
• Ability to safely load trucks and customer vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
