AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is seeking an Order Picker in the Rocky Mount, VA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately pulling orders, moving products throughout the warehouse, and ensuring inventory is processed efficiently to support distribution operations.

Benefits of the Order Picker:

• Pay: $14.00 per hour
• First Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities of the Order Picker:

• Pull products from inventory locations to accurately fill customer orders.
• Read order information and ensure the correct items are selected.
• Move throughout the warehouse using motorized equipment or manual carts to transport materials.
• Push and pull loaded carts and continuously walk and stand throughout the shift.
• Complete paperwork accurately to ensure orders are properly processed in the system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements of the Order Picker:

• Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to read and accurately identify inventory items.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to push and pull loaded carts and materials.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled overtime as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
